Alright, so we locals often see people who've come into town and the weather is not cooperating. They don't call it "May Gray" and "June Gloom" for no reason. However, if this is the only time of year you can visit Dog Beach then don't let the weather discourage you.
Big surf and palm tress blowing in the wind are fun to watch. Every day can't be perfect. So, bundle up and head on out to the beach.
Oh, and please stay out of the bird sanctuary. Yes, we see you out there obliviously walking past the posted, "DO NOT GO BEYOND THIS POINT" sign. We can forgive you for being tempted, but please do let your fur baby chase the birds. Thank you.
